About Us

Thank you for visiting 'About Us' at Wild African Art.

Am I an art 'expert'? Not really, I just know what I like. Do I know anything about the monetary value of art? No, not really. I just have a huge interest in African wildlife and I love fine quality wildlife art - watercolours, oils, prints, engraved glass, photographs - you name it...

During many years of running a safari company, my husband and I have lived and travelled all over Africa and have been privileged to witness the most wonderful wildlife spectacles, from the great East African migration to the dung beetle toiling along with his load. Consequently I'm thrilled to have discovered incredibly talented artists that re-create the African landscape and her animals with such skill and emotion.

Many of our safari guests were very interested in having very special 'souvenirs' of their jouneys to Africa so the Wild African Art website was created.

I have gathered together some of the finest wildlife artists not only from Africa but elsewhere too. They are all renowned talents in their field and exhibit their art worldwide.

As you browse the wildlife art here, I thought you may be interested to learn a few facts about the habits and lives of the featured African animals.

I am constantly expanding our range of artworks and I am always on the look out for more talented artists who would like to showcase their work here.

I hope you really enjoy wandering around the Wild African Art galleries.....

How Wild African Art Works

Each artist is featured with his or her work categorised by animal or subject. If you find an artwork you would like to purchase, please contact me via the specific art/artist contact form. I will then check if the piece is available - it may have been very recently sold or be on tour in an exhibition.

If the painting or other artwork is available 'off the shelf', I will ask you for your location and shipping preference. You will then be invoiced for the total amount. Once the transaction has been confirmed, the artwork will be packed and sent to you.

Wild African Art Commissions

If you have a very special safari memory or an affinity to a specific African animal that you would one of the artists to re-create for you, in their style, just contact me.
