Caroline Schultz Cheetah Art
On explaining the best place to see a cheetah, Caroline Schultz said "The Mount Kenya Safari Club is a likely to be the site of a cheetah."
In 1959 Hollywood actor, William Holden and his then safari companion, Ray Ryan bought the Mawingo Hotel at the foot of Mount Kenya. The hotel was renamed the Mount Kenya Safari Club and was immediately successful as an African safari base for the international jet-set of the time.
