Fiona Simon Art
Fiona was born in Yorkshire, England, attended school in the Lake District and graduated from the University in Wales with a degree in agriculture.
In 1986 she left the UK to "travel the world" and arrived in Zimbabwe, here finding a life which suited her outdoor nature.
Fiona has always worked in a scientific field but her delight is to get out into the African bush with her camera; "There is such joy and excitement in capturing images of the animals in their natural environment of which I never tire". These photos provide the inspiration for her detailed art work; "My art is self taught, there are no rules just a lot of fun, enjoyment and wonder at the beauty of the nature that surrounds me on this amazing continent".
