Patricia Wiles was born in London in 1922. She was a renowned wildlife artist, specializing in watercolors. She graduated from Rhodes University, South Africa and was stationed at Signal Hill, Cape Town, during World War II as a radar operator. She studied further at the Slade School of Art in London with her husband, Paul Wiles (1918-1997), who shared her passion for wildlife paintings and sculpture. Patricia Wiles' art has been exhibited in South Africa, America and Britain, and features in many international private collections.
