Roy Brooks Gemsbok Art

Roy Brooks gemsbok art depicts a herd of gemsbok in the desert.

Gemsbok may live in herds of up to 40 individuals, often in association with other species of antelope or with zebras. The males are sometimes solitary animals. They feeds on grass and leaves and can survive long periods without drinking any water. The horns are used as weapons against potent predators and also in fights for dominance between two males.
